Session B: Tabletop Chanoyu: Trying Your Hand at the Ritual
ăFormat: Mini-Seminar & Practice
ăSetting: Salon (Table & Seating)
ăOverview: Following a mini-seminar on the meaning and flow of a tea gathering (Chakai), you will experience the movements of matcha preparation while practicing how to whisk matcha.
ăSuitable for anyone interested in the etiquette of the Way of Tea or the graceful movements of hospitality.
Session C: Teicha experience: Tea ceremony for light matcha

ăSetting: Tea Ceremony Room (Chair style Seating)
ăOverview: After a brief practice on how to receive and drink light matcha (Usucha), you will casually enjoy matcha and a small Japanese sweet while seated comfortably on a chair-style seat, fully immersing yourself in the atmosphere of a tea ceremony room.
ăSuitable for those who prefer not to sit on the floor or wish to enjoy premium matcha in a relaxed setting.

Session E: The Art of the Guest: Gestures in a Japanese Tea Ceremony

ăSetting: Tea Ceremony Room (Tatami Mat Seating)
ăOverview: A dive into the formal movements and manners required as a "guest" in a tea ceremony room. You will learn how to bow, move on tatami mats, and properly receive the sweets and matcha.
ăSuitable for those who want to know how to behave gracefully when invited to a traditional Japanese tea gathering.

Up to 8 days prior: 70% refund (30% fee)
7 to 4 days prior: 50% refund (50% fee)
3 days or less / No-show: Non-refundable (100% fee)
2. Ticket Changes (Date/Session)
Up to 8 days prior: Permitted for a 20% fee.
7 to 4 days prior: Not directly changeable. Please cancel for a 50% refund and rebook.
3 days or less prior: No changes or refunds allowed.
